Erosion is a game we created with eight of my classmates for a work about shoot’em up.
An evil machine corrupted and stole a crystal from the pyus, and you have to play as them to defeat that malevolent foe in order to release the cristal, whatever the cost.
Play as a swarm of little crystals and take back what has been stolen, but be careful: your life points are also your ammunitions.
We wanted to create a shmup by shifting away from the rules of the genre. We tried to design something way more refined than the usual spatial/futuristic town setup, and tried to keep that mindset for every part of the production.
We tried to polish as much as possible every aspect of the game, and in the end everyone in the team included myself is very proud of what it became.
